THE REAL WORKFLOW
How TransferQueen Actually Works
Every screen below is recreated from TransferQueen's real Google Play and App Store listings — this is the actual four-step flow, not a simplified marketing version of it.
Listed as "TransferQueen: Photo Share App" on the App Store.
Open TransferQueen on both devices
Install TransferQueen on the Android phone, and "TransferQueen: Photo Share App" on the iPhone — two separate listings, same developer, built to talk to each other. Open the app on whichever device you're sending from and whichever you're sending to.
Connect the two devices
TransferQueen finds nearby compatible devices automatically over Wi-Fi (Nearby Discovery), or you can scan a QR code to pair directly. Either way, this is a direct device-to-device connection — no account, no cable, no internet connection required for the transfer itself.
Choose Send or Receive, then pick your files
On the sending device, tap Send and choose from photos, videos, music, documents, PDF files, contacts, or other supported files. On the receiving device, tap Receive and wait for the connection.
Files move directly — no cloud in between
Because the connection is direct, your files go from one device to the other without passing through a server. That's also the basis for TransferQueen's data safety disclosure on both stores: no data collected, none shared with third parties.
Works the same way, every direction
The four steps above are identical whether you're going Android to iPhone, iPhone to Android, or staying on the same platform.
Questions about the process
No. TransferQueen connects two nearby devices directly over Wi-Fi instead of routing through the internet. You don't need mobile data or a Wi-Fi network to join — the two devices connect to each other.
The store listings for both the Android and iOS apps don't describe an account or sign-up step. This is noted for verification with the product team before being stated as a guarantee.
Nearby Discovery searches automatically for compatible devices close by over Wi-Fi. Scanning a QR code pairs two specific devices directly, which can be faster if Nearby Discovery doesn't find the right device right away.
Yes. Photos, videos, documents, PDFs, contacts and other supported files all go through the same connect-select-send flow described above.
